NAFTheKxd

Vuyani Nathan Dube, better known as NAFTheKxd, is a Zimbabwean-born, South African rapper, songwriter and record producer, born on the 8th of December 2005, in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, with a passion for music that dates back to his early childhood.

NAFTheKxd's journey in the world of music began when he moved to South Africa at the young age of three. It was there that he had his first musical experiences, the most memorable being bonding with his father while listening to house music, setting the stage for his future as an artist.

 

In 2016, NAFTheKxd participated in his first talent show, he unfortunately didn’t do as well as he would’ve hoped, but it was the confidence gained from that experience that sowed the seeds of his burgeoning rap skills. Over the years, he engaged in numerous rap battles and cyphers, honing his craft. In 2018, NAFTheKxd created his first song, a pivotal moment in his artistic journey, even though it was sadly lost on his old hard drive. In 2019, he acquired his first computer, which opened the door to the world of music production and with the help of ProdbyLwezzy, he has made exponential progress in his production skills.

 

The stage name "NAF" is a nod to his childhood nickname, derived from his given name, Nathan. "The Kxd" represents his perpetual status as being the youngest in most rap battles and groups, both in and outside the realm of music.

 

NAFTheKxd is a dynamic artist who continually evolves, both lyrically and sonically, which, in his own words, makes him his own competition. As he continues to grow, his journey in the music world looks promising and he remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of his artistic abilities.
